The Scientific Revolution

The Scientific Revolution was a turning point in history because it contradicted the beliefs and teachings of the Catholic Church. Many astronomers, philosophes, and mathmeticians thought of theories that brought down the Catholic Church's authority in the 1500s.

After the Scientific Revolution, the Enlightenment began throughout the 1700s. Enlightenment thinkers were not afraid to question their ways of life, including the area of science, taught by the Catholic Church. Making this video was a good way to study. I learned all about how science, history, and religion ONCE were combined and how it really didn't work out.
