A Peek Into the Future

Back in the 50s, people did not have to rely on electronics for daily needs - fun, cooking, looking up information, etc. Nowadays, people are starting to rely on electronics for everyday life, whether it's calling someone on your Blackberry, updating your schedule on a PalmPilot, listening to iPods during a morning jog, or playing Xbox360 just to pass some time. In the future, electonics will probably become our lives. I can sense that there's going to be something out there, like our own surrogate, to live out our everyday lives.

Life years ago was nothing like it is today. Today, we cannot go a day without touching some kind of electronic or device to make our lives simpler (Admit it, you used a coffee machine to make your coffee this morning). Back then, all they really needed was their favorite toy and a couple of best friends to play around the block with. Wasn't life so cute back then?

Sure, why not have someone do our chores, go to work, learn our classes for us? But there's always the thought that it'll be taken to the FURTHEST extent. By this I mean, passing our classes, earning our promotions, having fun for us... if you don't want "someone else" to do it for you... then who will?

Besides that, I think one of the greatest advancements would be in education. Right now, as I'm learning geometry and biology in sophomore year, someone in the future will probably learning it at a 4th grade level. There are about double the college courses you can take now than there was 50 years ago. Imagine how many college courses will be out there when we'll go to college, or even our kids! This is definitely an improvement coming in our future. There is so much one can learn, but is it possible to learn it ALL?
